Romero and Juliette
Romero and Juliette is a Quest in The Park, telling the story of the love between
Romero and
Juliette.
Quest Summary
[edit | edit source]To start the quest, you must speak with Juliette (Romero won't appear otherwise). The rest of the quest requires you to find Romero in separate locations and fetching items for him, which you will give to Juliette each time. Be warned that some of the required items are expensive and should only be finished in the late or end game.
As of v0.19.5 update, the quest requires at least
Combat XXII (22) to complete.
For further details on each step, have a look below the table.
Each step of the quest gives an upgraded form of the
Ring of Love, which gives a percentage chance to deal +100% Damage. For brevity, the table will only list the odds.
Note: Required items will be consumed, except for the Tuxedo and any gear used to reach enough Intelligence for the 7th step.
Further Details
[edit | edit source]Start the quest by speaking with Juliette.

At Quest Step 1, Romero can first be found behind and below
Master Tactician Funk in a cave at the Savanna Woodland. Upon interacting with him, he asks you to get him
1 Yellow Rock, which can be found by mining the gold ore in one of the savanna caves (do not use a Silk Touch pickaxe). Once obtained, he will pass you a
Poorly Wrapped Rock, which you must then pass to Juliette.
At Quest Step 2, Romero can be found at the Village, near
Marco's hut. He then asks you to obtain
16 Poppy for him. Upon obtaining them, interacting with Romero will give you a
Rose Bouquet, which you also need to pass to Juliette.

At Quest Step 3, Romero can be found at the Emerald Altar in the Graveyard, to the left. He then needs you to pass him
64 Emerald. Once you pass them to him, he will return a
Fake Emerald Altar which you questionably pass to Juliette.
At Quest Step 4, Romero can be found in the Crimson Isle, in one of the underground
Nether Wart farms. He will require an
Enchanted Red Mushroom Block, which consists of
25,600 Red Mushroom.
At Quest Step 5, Romero is found at the wooden platform on top of the Mountain. He complains about the cold and asks for a Rabbit VI potion (Splash Potions does not work) brewed with Coffee, purchased from the Bartender. To brew the potion, you need an Enchanted Rabbit Foot and an Enchanted Glowstone (Or an Enchanted Redstone Lamp).
At Quest Step 6, Romero is found in the Gold Mine next to a campfire. He is straight down and steep to the left. He will ask for an
Enchanted Lava Bucket.

At Quest Step 7, Romero is found at the house of emeralds in the Wilderness, close to the Dark Auction. He asks for at least 1,291 Intelligence. Note that this means a max Mana of 1,391.
Items to be considered:
Aurora Armor, which has quite high Intelligence stat for its price.
Ender Monocle, extremely cheap power stone providing great Intelligence.
Crystal Armor or
Bat Person Armor which can have doubled or tripled stats under certain conditions. This can be combined with the Wise or Necrotic reforges (the latter gives more Intelligence).
- Crystal Armour can receive up to a 15 (187.5%) bonus by jumping next to the torch inside of the hut.
Bottle of Jyrre- Held items that give Intelligence, such as
Dreadlord Sword,
Bonzo's Staff, or the more expensive
Spirit Sceptre, reforged to Heroic.
At Quest Step 8, Romero appears on the right side of the Colosseum beside the smaller pool of water to the right of the entrance, where he asks for an
Emerald Blade.
At Quest Step 9, Romero appears in a small house in the Mushroom Desert at
297, 87, -562. He asks for a
Flower Minion from the Dark Auction. This is often the most expensive part of the quest, due to the high demand for Flower Minions.
At Quest Step 10, you need to get a tuxedo from
Taylor's basement, costing 3 million to 75 million coins. Note that the tuxedo is not consumed by the quest. At this point, your EPIC talisman will become LEGENDARY. You also unlock the "Friar Lawrence" Achievement.
Completing this whole quest can cost approximately 50,000,000 Coins or more. It can vary depending on the price of a Flower Minion.
Trivia
[edit | edit source]- The scrambled Rubix Prism Romero is holding during Quest Step 7 cannot be solved, as it contains duplicate pieces and a piece with two orange-colored sides at once.
