Captain Ahone

Captain Ahone is an NPC found throughout the  Crimson Isle primarily during the Mage Faction Questline, as well as at the end of both Faction Questlines.

Quest

Captain Ahone first appears during the Mage Faction Questline when the player is sent to the  Mage Council to meet about stolen research.

Later in the quest, he appears in the  Burning Desert with a Small Backpack, after Dean tasks the player with finding the lost Apprentice. Their Abiphone contact gets added to the player's Abiphone, instructing them to call upon finding the Apprentice. When this happens, he then walks up to the Apprentice with Grelius and Krevius, splashes him with healing potions, and then disappears, tasking the player player with reporting back to Dean.

Towards the end of the quest, Dean tasks the player with calling Captain Ahone, who then instructs the player to meet them by the  Forgotten Skull. He can then be found there with several other NPCs, who all agree to investigate Kuudra. This ending also occurs at the end of the Barbarian Faction Questline.

After defeating Kuudra for the first time as part of either quest, they then appear in the  Forgotten Skull with Ugo and Elle, disappearing after you continue the quest.

During the  Mage Council meeting	[NPC] Dean: Oh, <player> is here! They're the one who retrieved the research! [NPC] Queen Nyx: I see, we owe you adventurer, this object is of great value to us. [NPC] Dean: Yes indeed! With it we are able to extract salt from Netherrack, it will be a massive asset when cooking. [NPC] Dean: You see, while we evolved past the need for crops and cattle, the quality of our food remains low. [NPC] Dean: I would say close to 50% of our research is still spent on food artifacts and machines. [NPC] Captain Ahone: And once again those Piglins stole our research. [NPC] Captain Ahone: They believe we are working on war engines. [NPC] Captain Ahone: The tension is rising and soon we might have to cross swords with them. [NPC] Queen Nyx: Captain Ahone, this isn't a conversation we should have right now. [NPC] Queen Nyx: Thank you very much, <player>. Would you mind leaving us now, we have matters to discuss. [NPC] Dean: <player> please meet me back at the Academy, we have a lot to talk about!
In the  Mage Council, after the meeting	[NPC] Captain Ahone: Our relations with the Piglins is getting worse, things are spiraling out of control.
First Interaction in the  Burning Desert After Being Sent by Dean	[NPC] Captain Ahone: You are looking for the Dean's Apprentice? [NPC] Captain Ahone: I'm afraid he might be in great danger, I just found his backpack and there is some blood on it... [NPC] Captain Ahone: We must find him at once, I really hope this isn't the Piglin's doing. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Let's separate. Take my contact and call me if you find anything. ✆ Captain Ahone has been added to your Abiphone's contacts!
Looking for the Apprentice	[NPC] Captain Ahone: He might be nearby, let me know if you find anything.
Calling with an Abiphone After Finding Apprentice	[NPC] Captain Ahone: ✆ You found the Apprentice? [NPC] Captain Ahone: ✆ Good work. We will come to you at once!
After Help Arrives	[NPC] Captain Ahone: Looks like we found him just in time, he will live, but he needs medical attention. [NPC] Captain Ahone: I know the Dean's Apprentice, they would never take that much damage from the monsters around here. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Once they wake up from their coma we will know what happened to them, but I have my suspicions. [NPC] Captain Ahone: The guards and I will bring him back to the city, please explain the situation to the Dean.
After giving Dean his resources (Can appear as Abiphone dialogue)	[NPC] Captain Ahone: <player>! Perfect timing [NPC] Captain Ahone: Our entire stash of Sulphur got stolen. I have no idea how "they" did it. [NPC] Captain Ahone: The Queen is warning me against hasty conclusions, but enough is enough. [NPC] Captain Ahone: We cannot let the Barbarians trespass our borders without retaliation. [NPC] Captain Ahone: My scouts told me they sighted Barbarian activities in the North, near the Forgotten Skull. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Let's meet again there, and be prepared for combat.
Before heading to the  Forgotten Skull (Can appear as Abiphone dialogue)	[NPC] Captain Ahone: The Forgotten Skull in the North is close to the Barbarian borders, they are probably hiding the stolen Sulphur there.
	[NPC] Captain Ahone: Some matters cannot be solved peacefully.
During  Forgotten Skull Meeting	[NPC] Elle: Captain Ahone, Ugo, this is a misunderstanding! [NPC] Elle: I saw what happened! I saw everything! [NPC] Elle: A monstruous^[sic] creature was carrying the Sulphur, mountains of Sulphur! [NPC] Elle: The monster had giant tentacles, I have never seen anything like it before in my life! [NPC] Captain Ahone: Elle of the Nether, do not attempt to trick us. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Your motives are noble, but time for diplomacy is over. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Barbarians, return our Sulphur at once, or face the consequences of your actions. [NPC] Ugo: WE stole YOUR Sulphur?! You wizards have some nerves! [NPC] Ugo: We came here following the trails of the Sulphur that YOU robbed! [NPC] Elle: ENOUGH! [NPC] Elle: You were BOTH robbed, isn't it obvious?! [NPC] Elle: The culprit is inside, and it is not Human nor Piglin. [NPC] Elle: I have no idea what it is, but I have to warn you, that fiend is immensely powerful. [NPC] Elle: Now if you wish to retrieve your Sulphur, follow me inside. [NPC] Captain Ahone: This giant tentacle monster story is real? [NPC] Captain Ahone: I have trouble believing it, but in any case we have to get to the bottom of this. [NPC] Ugo: I agree, let's get inside.
After defeating Kuudra	[NPC] Elle: What a fight! [NPC] Ugo: And we got all the Sulphur back! [NPC] Ugo: But what exactly was that monster? [NPC] Captain Ahone: No idea, such a titan appearing out of nowhere isn't a good sign. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Especially if it's after our Sulphur. [NPC] Ugo: We clearly hurt it real bad, but for all we know it's still alive. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Barbarians, I would like to apologise for accusing you. You fought well out there. [NPC] Ugo: No hard feelings, I also judged you too quickly. [NPC] Ugo: You too <player>, you and your friends fought bravely, we couldn't have done it without you [NPC] Captain Ahone: I have to report to the Queen, there is no time to waste. [NPC] Ugo: I'll also alert our Chief. Time to go. [NPC] Elle: Is anyone going to thank me?
