Sneaky Creepers are a type of Creeper that spawn exclusively in the Gunpowder Mines. They have the appearance of a normal creeper - however, they are invisible until they approach the player.

The Sneaky Creeper spawns in the Gunpowder Mines completely invisible.

Upon getting in range of a player, the Sneaky Creeper will become visible. It will then also begin to explode, like a normal creeper. If the player runs away before it explodes, it will stay visible, and act entirely like a normal creeper. Killing the Sneaky Creeper before it explodes will prevent the explosion, granting  Combat XP and some Gunpowder.

It has 120  Health and deals 80  Damage

Sneaky Creepers are not really a threat, but it is hard to kill them without them exploding. If you really want to kill them to collect gunpowder or grind bestiary, then, as soon as you hear the "sss" sound, run away until they defuse and then either come back with your sword or finish them off with a bow. Alternatively, you can find someone trying to mine, follow them around, and kill any creepers that spawn near them. An alternative strategy is to use a Skeleton Pet (Legendary), which will shoot the Sneaky Creeper before it is able to explode.

If you are lucky, you can also try shooting randomly, but this usually does not yield any results. Bouncy arrows can be used to make it easier to get multiple in a row.

You also can run around with  Frozen Blaze Armor to kill nearby sneaky creepers with its damaging aura

• Sneaky Creepers have a 9Pray RNGesus chance to drop an Exp Share Core. If the player gets this early on, they can get a bit of money.
• They can be killed by homing weapon when invisible which allows them to be farmed easily for bestiary.
