Lagoon Leeches spawn once the player enters water in the  Black Lagoon. They will pursue the player, and move extremely quickly in water. If the player is on land, the Lagoon Leech will follow them in water and then leap up onto the land, where they will move slower. They remove 12.5  Rift Time on contact.

If the Lagoon Leech re-enters water after walking on land while the player is on land, it will despawn.
