Currency
Currency is, as the name suggests, a variety of in-game units of currency that are used for transactions. Currencies, unlike regular items, are not physical and cannot be interacted with outside of their shops.
Some currencies, like
Coins and Essence, are used for transactions between NPCs, players, and other features; other currencies, such as ᠅ Mithril Powder or ✿ Sowdust, are used to upgrade parts of the game.
Coins
[edit | edit source]
Coins are the primary unit of currency in SkyBlock. They are obtained through multiple sources and used to purchase items from NPCs alongside other sinks, such as the Dark Auction and Dungeon Reward Chests: however, they are most commonly circulated through the Bazaar and Auction House.
Coins can be kept in the Bank or Purse. Half of all
Coins kept in the Purse are lost on death while not under the effect of a
Piggy Bank or
Booster Cookie.
