Motes

Motes are the primary currency used in the Rift Dimension. They are used to purchase various items from many NPCs in the Rift Dimension.

Motes can be obtained by coming in contact with pink orb particles that spawn everywhere in the Rift and grant 25 Motes and +2  Rift Time. Motes in  Enigma's Crib grant 10 Motes and no  Rift Time.

Motes can also be obtained by killing Mobs in the Rift and selling items to the Motes Grubber.

Other sources of Motes include:

• A one-time reward of 60,000 Motes, which can be claimed from Dr. Emmett upon completion of the Mirrorverse.
•  Ubik's Cube, which can be used to play Split or Steal with any player or NPC.

Consuming  McGrubber's Burgers increases the number of Motes granted from orbs and from selling items to Motes Grubber.

• Players joining the Rift Dimension for the first time can fight Leech Supreme for 3,000 Motes per boss.
• After obtaining the  SkyBlock Citizen Timecharm, Autonulls in the  Living Cave grant 400 Motes and Autoboots 500 Motes.
• After obtaining the  Living Timecharm, Bacte grants 6,000 Motes per boss.
• After obtaining the  Globulate Timecharm and completing the quest from Reed to purchase the  Rift Boat, Thralls and Fledglings in the  Stillgore Château can be targeted to craft  Vampiric Melons into  Enchanted Vampiric Melons (200 Motes per mob and 21,000 Motes per  Enchanted Vampiric Melon).
  • If the  Enchanted Vampiric Melons are sold, each Thrall or Fledgling effectively grants 331.25 Motes.
• After obtaining the  Vampiric Timecharm and reaching Timite IV (4),  Highlite can be crafted with  32 Youngite,  32 Timite and  16 Obsolite. It can then be sold to the Motes Grubber for 25,000 Motes.
• Every 2hr, the  Ubik's Cube can be used to challenge anyone to a round of Split or Steal. The rightmost NPC to Ubik Von Neumann has a 100% chance to split, earning between 25,000 Motes to 45,000 Motes depending on the number of rounds.

• Motes may be a reference to XP Motes from Disney Mirrorverse.
