A Shiny Rod can be purchased from Piggy for  128 Shiny Token during the Year of the Pig.

A  Shiny Rod increases the speed that Shiny Pigs run away from the player by 30% and increases Coins from  Shiny Orbs by 25% while held.

The Shiny Rod does not need to be held while leading the Shiny Pig to gain extra Coins, only when extracting the  Shiny Orb.
