Block Drop Calculation

With the release of the v0.11 Dwarven Mines update, most of the block drop increases have been condensed into multiple fortune stats for each relevant activity (Mining Fortune, Farming Fortune, Foraging Fortune), greatly simplifying how the drop chances are calculated.

Mining

[edit | edit source]

Average Amount=Base Amount×Base Drop Multiplier×(1+Mining Fortune100)+Additive Bonus

Where:

  • Base Amount is the amount of drops received without any bonuses.
  • Base Drop Multiplier includes bonuses that increase multiplicatively with one another (Mining Fiesta, SkyMall's 5x Titanium).
  • Mining Fortune is your total Mining Fortune bonus, including ore-specific bonuses.
  • Additive Bonus is comprised of bonuses that are unaffected by the base drop amount or by Mining Fortune(e.g. Fallen Star, Mithraic reforge).

Example

[edit | edit source]

Mining Titanium Ore with a Mining Fiesta and 5x Titanium active while near a Fallen Star, with 300 Mining Fortune.

2×2×5×(1+300100)+2=82

Farming

[edit | edit source]

Average Amount=Base Amount×(1+Farming Fortune100)

For a list of modifiers that affect crop drops, see Farming Fortune.

Foraging

[edit | edit source]

Average Amount=Base Amount×(1+Foraging Fortune100)

For a list of modifiers that affect log drops, see Foraging Fortune.
