The Bonzo's Staff's Showtime ability shots slow-moving balloons at a rate of 4/s. These balloons explode on contact with blocks and mobs, which deals 1,000 damage to all mobs caught within 2 blocks of the explosion. Enchantments that do not affect abilities, such as Sharpness, Life Steal, Drain, Cleave, and Mana Steal, as well as Ferocity, do not work with the Showtime ability.

If the wielder is within range of the explosion, they will be launched upwards and backwards up to 1.7 blocks upwards and 8 blocks backwards.

Upgrading

Bonzo's Staff can be converted into  Bonzo's Staff using Bonzo Fragments to buff its stats. Upgrading grants +50 Intelligence

Tips

The Bonzo's Staff, while not viable as a primary Mage weapon past the first few floors upon obtaining a weapon like a Spirit Sceptre, is incredibly useful in Floor VII as a mobility weapon as it can be used to:
- Reach the Energy Crystals in Maxor's phase
- Quickly reach the pressure plates in Storm's phase
- Reach terminals and devices in Goldor's phase
It is imperative to upgrade the Bonzo's Staff with Bonzo Fragments due to their relatively cheap price on the Bazaar.
