Spelling Stick
The Spelling Stick is a LEGENDARY Sword. It displays the buyer's name, cost paid, and the details about in which auction it was sold and the ranking of the buyer within that auction. This data disappears if the item is traded in any way.
Obtaining
[edit | edit source]The Spelling Stick is one of the five items that appear at Shen's Special while 
Diaz is elected with her Volume Trading perk and can be bid on by players. The top 20 bidders win the item. ♲ Ironman profiles have a separate auction, where top 10 bidders get the item.

Hitting a mob while holding a Spelling Stick will garble a random character in its name. It can add, remove, or shuffle around characters. The changes are visible to all players in the lobby.
Trivia
[edit | edit source]- If a Spelling Stick is used on a mob whose name consists of only one character, and the action it rolls is removing a character, it will do nothing instead.
- Mobs with spaces in their name can have their name turned effectively blank, consisting of only a single space.
- Mobs with their names changed that are summoned through Necromancy will have their names reverted.
