[edit | edit source]- It is a common misconception that vampires are weak to silver. A Vampires weakness to silver is not found in traditional vampire folklore, but is instead derived from silver's relation to purity. Vampires are weakened by pure things such as crucifix's, rosary's, holy water and running water such as rivers.
- Cultural practices often arose that were intended to prevent a recently deceased loved one from turning into a vampire. One such practice was placing earthly objects, such as scythes, sickles, and other bladed objects[1][2][3].
- The karambit was originally an agricultural tool designed to rake roots, gather threshing and plant rice originating in Indonesia, specifically on the island of Sumatra before spreading into neighbouring countries like Malaysia and the Philippines.[4]
