Aurora Staff

The Aurora Staff is a LEGENDARY Sword that can be obtained from defeating Kuudra. Its ability, Runic Zap, fires a beam, similarly to the Mage's class passive Mage Staff in Dungeons.

The Aurora Staff can be obtained from the paid Kuudra reward chest.

The Aurora Staff is a Mage-based weapon. It requires  Combat XXII (22) and Kuudra Basic Tier Completion to use. It has different "modes", each representing a different rune. Because of this, it is meant to be used with Aurora Armor, as it allows you to see the runic affinity of mobs. The beam it fires deals more damage if the runic affinity of a mob is the same as the rune on the staff. The three "modes" are:

• Virtuoso
• Mediator
• Defender

With the Aurora Armor, different colored particles will appear, coming from the center of mobs. They will either be a flame particle (Mediator), an end particle (Virtuoso) or a cyan-colored particle (Defender). Using the correct "mode" will deal more  Damage. If wearing the Aurora Armor, after using the correct rune 10 times, each attack will also explode on impact.

• The Aurora Staff has 10,000 Base Ability Damage and an Ability Scaling of 0.20.
• The Aurora Staff's Damage decays at a rate of e^(-0.0225*Distance) per block.^[1]
