Aatrox, Maddox's Brother-In-Law, is a mayoral candidate that can be elected during the Mayor Election event. His perks focus around Slayer.

Mechanics
[edit | edit source]Pathfinder increases the chance of obtaining drops affected by Magic Find from Slayer Bosses by 20% (1.2x). This is done by increasing Magic Find against Slayer Bosses using the following formula:

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- In the original patch notes for the 0.9 update, Aatrox is referred to as
Maddox the Slayer's brother-in-law, but his dialogue introduces Aatrox as Maddox's younger brother.
- Elle refers to Aatrox as Maddox's brother in the Mage branch of the Crimson Isle questline.
- His name is a reference to a League of Legends champion of the same name.
- Alternatively, it can be directly based on the Latin word atrōx meaning horrible, cruel, terrible or violent.
- Aatrox was the original name of Maddox before it was changed. This is hinted on the ID name of the Maddox Batphone: AATROX_BATPHONE
- In the Mage branch of the Crimson Isle questline, Elle explains that Aatrox has been crafting simple Ability Phones for Maddox's use. This serves as an explanation for the ID having Aatrox's name.
- Aatrox{{}}'s bonus to Slayer XP is multiplicative with the one from Century Celebration.
