Melancholic Viking
The Melancholic Viking is an NPC located in the Viking Longhouse by the Spruce Woods. He gives the player access to a special shop if they complete a short quest to remind him of the sea.
Quest
[edit | edit source]These steps must be completed without leaving The Park. After two minutes, the quest will reset and the player will have to complete the quest again if they wish to access the shop again.
- Use a
Magical Water Bucket to extinguish the fire in the cabin. The water must be placed directly onto the fire. - Right-click either
Furnace to the left of the Melancholic Viking with a 
Raw Cod. This will consume the fish, and make the furnace become active. - Use the
Fish Hat Splash Ability. It must be used a total of 15 times, which costs 150 Mana, for the Viking to finish reminiscing.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Interacting with the Furnace with a Trophy Fish for the first time grants the "Meal fit for a King" Achievement.
- The "Throw them at people you hate!" line when interacting with a boat is a reference to people used to be able to throw boats at others to fill their inventory to troll or sabotage them at the Dark Auction.
- The Viking's "I last saw the sea # years, # months ago." line is based on the time since October 30th, 2009, or epoch time 1256960211193. This is 3,650 days before October 28th, 2019.
- Once all steps have been completed, lightning will rain down from the sky, and the Viking will become the Joyful Viking. The shop will be available for 2 minutes.
