Freddy is an NPC found in the  Torrhus Canyon who teaches the player how to Hunt several different creatures.

Beeheemoths tip (20,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Beeheemoths? Even I dunno where they come from. [NPC] Freddy: They just show up sometimes, yaknow? Flying high around the island. [NPC] Freddy: Listen out for a loud humming and keep yer eyes peeled and Lasso at the ready, I'd say.
Blue Jays tip (5,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Blue Jays? Them little guys live up in Torrhus Heights. [NPC] Freddy: Climb up high, Lasso in hand, and sneak up on 'em.
Bunbuns tip (5,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Bunbuns? You ain't seen one yet? [NPC] Freddy: They're everywhere, hoppin' around!
Drybarks tip (15,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Them there Drybarks spawn from Helix Tree Gifts. [NPC] Freddy: Keep an eye on 'em while you get yer Lasso out. [NPC] Freddy: Don't blink, or they'll come right atcha.
Dustybits tip (10,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Them frogs known as Dustybits leap around the Spring Path. [NPC] Freddy: Chase 'em down, following them after each leap, an' eventually they'll get too tired to run any more. [NPC] Freddy: It's a battle of attrition, I'll say, you versus the beast.
Embers tip (10,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Them Embers live in Torrhus Springs, I believe. [NPC] Freddy: They be quite deep down, compared to Solars. [NPC] Freddy: Catch 'em all in yer Fishing Net.
Firefoxes tip (5,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Pop open a Helix Tree Gift, ye might find a Firefox. [NPC] Freddy: They be quite timid, and won't cause yer Lasso any problems.
Goldolotes tip (15,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Hmm, the Goldolot. [NPC] Freddy: That be a rare mutation of the Sepialot that sometimes appears in Torrhus Springs. [NPC] Freddy: I would say, hmm, maybe a 20% chance o' replacin' it. [NPC] Freddy: Sneak up on it and catch it in yer Fishing Net.
Groundhogs tip (5,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: If I recall, them Groundhogs spawn from Helix Tree Gifts. [NPC] Freddy: They're quite feisty, but use that there Lasso to tire 'em out.
Hideonsuns tip (5,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Hideonsun, hmm, sneaky buggers. [NPC] Freddy: Keep yer eyes peeled for any strange lookin' Orange Boxes. [NPC] Freddy: They blend into the environment real well. [NPC] Freddy: Once ya find one, jump on its head or give it a punch to wake it up.
Hivethiefs tip (15,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: I seen a Hivethief or two show up sometimes. [NPC] Freddy: They come by when you smear a Helix Tree with Honeycomb. [NPC] Freddy: Me good friend Honey knows more about all that than me.
Honeybuzz tip (5,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Groups of Honeybuzz live within Honeyhives 'round the island. [NPC] Freddy: Stick yer hand in and you might just find one!
Mountain Goats tip (20,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: The Mountain Goat live right up high. [NPC] Freddy: On the Spring Path and other tall points is where you'll find 'em. [NPC] Freddy: Keep yer distance when you Lasso 'em, though - their headbutt will send yer flying.
Pangolins tip (15,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Them Pangolins be right scared of their own shadow, I tell ya. [NPC] Freddy: Sneak up on 'em, quiet as you can, and Lasso 'em before they can turn into a ball. [NPC] Freddy: If they do curl up, yer gonna have to wait a while until they let their guard down again.
Parched tip (10,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Them Parched be really thirsty. [NPC] Freddy: If you smear a Helix Tree with Honey, they might show up. [NPC] Freddy: The lovely Honey knows more about all that stuff than I do.
Pollendarts tip (5,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Them Pollendarts love their Honey, I know that much! [NPC] Freddy: If you smear a Helix Tree with Honey, they might come. [NPC] Freddy: Miss Honey knows more about all that than I do. Ask her!
Pucks tip (15,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Open up a Helix Tree Gift, ye might find a Puck. [NPC] Freddy: They be mischievous little buggers, but they ain't as strong as a well-placed Lasso, I can tell yer that much.
Queen Ants tip (10,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Ah, the Queen Ant. A special one, she is. [NPC] Freddy: Dive deep down into Torrhus Springs, make yer way into Ant's Cave. [NPC] Freddy: You'll rarely find her scuttlin' about on the cave floor. [NPC] Freddy: She's more likely to come out if ya start destroyin' the Anthills, though.
Sepialots tip (10,000 Coins)		[NPC] Freddy: Sepialot, huh, that thing be up in Torrhus Springs. [NPC] Freddy: Sneak up on it and catch it in yer Fishing Net before it sees ya.
