Blazing Volcano

The Blazing Volcano is a Sub-Location at the center of the  Crimson Isle. It's purpose is mainly for lava-fishing, as it contains many different sized lava pools. Odger can be found here and he sells different fishing gears for the player to lava fish there.

Tasks

When the player first enters  Blazing Volcano, they will be greeted with the following message:

Description

The Blazing Volcano can be found by going directly forward at spawn. There is a fortress like Entrance Gate at the base of the Volcano. Volcanic Geysers can be found around the Lava at the bottom of the volcano.

Odger's Hut

 Odger's Hut is located in the top of the Volcano. It is an obsidian house with a netherbrick roof. To access it, the player must step on the pressure plate, to open the iron door.

Magma Chamber

Around the Lava Pool at the bottom of the Volcano will be an opening on the lava surface which leads to the  Magma Chamber.

Mechanics

Geysers

1 Geyser is located in the Blazing Volcano. Steaming-Hot Flounders can be caught when fishing within 2 blocks of the Geyser. Every 10 minutes, the Geyser's location will change to one of the following locations:

Volcanic Eruption

Approximately every 2-2.5 hours, the lava pool at the bottom will rise, until it completely fills the volcano, when it will start spewing out blocks. If players touch the risen lava without Obsidian Skin, they die. They have different chances to be spewed out.

Wherever the Sponge lands, it will turn into Sulphur Ore, which can be mined with a tool with 8 Breaking Power or above. Wherever a Block of Coal lands, it will turn into a Matcho.

Explosivity

A volcano eruption also has a chance to have different explosivity levels.

This system functions similarly to the way the old explosion in the  Blazing Fortress worked, and similarly can be viewed in the tab list.

When the volcano isn't erupting, it will be displayed as INACTIVE.

Usage

When the Volcano is erupting, Sulphur Ore and Matcho will spawn around the island. Furthermore, if the eruption is CATACLYSMIC and the player has clicked the bookshelf located on 10, 127, -938 with at least 4000 Intelligence, they can — for the duration of the eruption — go near  Magma Chamber and mine a block at -373, 82, -880, with any drill, granting them the Kuudra Relic.
