Ugo

Ugo is an NPC found in  Dragontail. They are Chief Scorn's son and a key figure in the Barbarian Faction questline.

Quest

Ugo is found by the player and Elle in a little cave in the  Burning Desert in the form of a pig. The player must feed them 1 Sulphur and escort Ugo and Elle to the  Chief's Hut. Doing so will accept the player into the Barbarian Faction.

Ugo and Elle will then ask the player to steal the Research from the Dean in the  Cathedral. After successfully doing so, the player will gain +100 ⚒️ Barbarian Reputation, and Ugo will ask the player to complete a Test of Force, a Test of Stamina and a Test of Mastery, with a minimum rating of C.

Finally, Ugo will ask the player to kill a Mage Outlaw and a Magma Boss. Doing so will grant +150 ⚒️ Barbarian Reputation, plus an additional 20 for killing the boss the first time that day.

The player will meet Ugo again after they complete Gris's Quest, where they will meet Ugo, Elle and Captain Ahone outside the  Forgotten Skull to defeat Kuudra.

[NPC] Ugo: I know, I was careless, I was on a mission for... [NPC] Ugo: SULPHUR! My father is going to KILL ME!! [NPC] Elle: Let's not exaggerate. [NPC] Ugo: You don't understand, my father is the Chief! [NPC] Elle: You were not exaggerating. [NPC] Ugo: Please help me, I have to present myself to him. [NPC] Elle: Of course. [NPC] Ugo: He's not that bad, you get used to it. [NPC] Elle: I don't know what he wants you to do out there, but we can't let you go back there with your injured leg. [NPC] Ugo: I'm afraid I have to. [NPC] Elle: Just tell us what you have to do and we'll do it for you. [NPC] Ugo: I can't tell you it's highly confidential. [NPC] Elle: I don't care, you can't go back out there with a broken leg. [NPC] Ugo: Sigh [NPC] Ugo: My father believes that the Mage Faction is working on some kind of powerful war instrument. [NPC] Ugo: We know they are hiding something inside their Cathedral. [NPC] Ugo: My job is to infiltrate their Cathedral and steal their war machine so we can study it. [NPC] Elle: Say no more, that's a perfect job for <player>. [NPC] Ugo: Why them? [NPC] Elle: Alright let's go.

First interaction at the town board	[NPC] Ugo: This is our Town Board. [NPC] Ugo: Whenever someone needs something they put a request here and anyone can fulfill it. [NPC] Ugo: Not enough people are doing them so I usually have to do most requests myself. [NPC] Ugo: There are also Dojo requests, those are my training sessions... [NPC] Ugo: I don't think I can do my training with my bad leg. [NPC] Ugo: Master Tao has terrible sight, maybe you could go to the Dojo and pretend to be me? [NPC] Ugo: I'll wait for you here.
Before completing the Dojo tasks	[NPC] Ugo: The Dojo is on the opposite side of the island, south of Scarleton, the Mage city.
After completing the Dojo tasks	[NPC] Ugo: How was the training? Not too bad? [NPC] Ugo: I'm sorry you had to go through this. [NPC] Ugo: My father wants me to become the next Chief one day. [NPC] Ugo: I don't really have a choice. [NPC] Ugo: The Town Board missions get harder the higher your Reputation gets. [NPC] Ugo: If that's fine with you, I'll give you a couple of my missions, but they are quite tough. [NPC] Ugo: The first one requires eliminating a Mage Outlaw. [NPC] Ugo: They are technically Mages, but not part of the Mage Faction, they constantly cause problems. [NPC] Ugo: The one we need to eliminate is in the Courtyard, it's on the outskirts of Scarleton, towards the north.
Before killing the Mage Outlaw	[NPC] Ugo: Mage Outlaws often attack Piglins, the Wizards don't really want to deal with them so we have to do it ourself.
Before killing the Mage Outlaw	[NPC] Ugo: The Courtyard is a bit hidden, it is north-west of Scarleton, just outside of the city.
After killing the Mage Outlaw	[NPC] Ugo: You dealt with it? Great! [NPC] Ugo: You are quite competent, those Mages are usually quite strong, they also think very highly of themselves. [NPC] Ugo: The next mission is to kill the Magma Boss. [NPC] Ugo: He's an overgrown Magma Cube that keeps on growing infinitely. [NPC] Ugo: We have to defeat him every few weeks to keep it in check, otherwise it can grow out of control. [NPC] Ugo: It's very easy to find the Magma Boss, simply take any of the tunnels below the Volcano and descend until you reach the center.
Before killing the Magma Boss	[NPC] Ugo: Don't feel too bad about killing those Magma Cubes, they will be born again.
Before killing the Magma Boss	[NPC] Ugo: Once you find the large room below the Volcano, you'll be able to see it.
After killing the Magma Boss	[NPC] Ugo: I am glad you are back. [NPC] Ugo: You completed all my missions, I am very grateful. [NPC] Ugo: Now if you will excuse me, it's time for me to take care of my leg. [NPC] Ugo: See you around <player>.
Before meeting at the  Forgotten Skull (tasks completed)	[NPC] Ugo: Time to focus on myself.
Meeting outside the  Forgotten Skull	[NPC] Elle: Captain Ahone, Ugo, this is a misunderstanding! [NPC] Elle: I saw what happened! I saw everything! [NPC] Elle: A monstruous^[sic] creature was carrying the Sulphur, mountains of Sulphur! [NPC] Elle: The monster had giant tentacles, I have never seen anything like it before in my life! [NPC] Captain Ahone: Elle of the Nether, do not attempt to trick us. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Your motives are noble, but time for diplomacy is over. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Barbarians, return our Sulphur at once, or face the consequences of your actions. [NPC] Ugo: WE stole YOUR Sulphur?! You wizards have some nerves! [NPC] Ugo: We came here following the trails of the Sulphur that YOU robbed! [NPC] Elle: ENOUGH! [NPC] Elle: You were BOTH robbed, isn't it obvious?! [NPC] Elle: The culprit is inside, and it is not Human nor Piglin. [NPC] Elle: I have no idea what it is, but I have to warn you, that fiend is immensely powerful. [NPC] Elle: Now if you wish to retrieve your Sulphur, follow me inside. [NPC] Captain Ahone: This giant tentacle monster story is real? [NPC] Captain Ahone: I have trouble believing it, but in any case we have to get to the bottom of this. [NPC] Ugo: I agree, let's get inside.
Right after defeating Kuudra for the first time	[NPC] Elle: What a fight! [NPC] Ugo: And we got all the Sulphur back! [NPC] Ugo: But what exactly was that monster? [NPC] Captain Ahone: No idea, such a titan appearing out of nowhere isn't a good sign. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Especially if it's after our Sulphur. [NPC] Ugo: We clearly hurt it real bad, but for all we know it's still alive. [NPC] Captain Ahone: Barbarians, I would like to apologise for accusing you. You fought well out there. [NPC] Ugo: No hard feelings, I also judged you too quickly. [NPC] Ugo: You too <player>, you and your friends fought bravely, we couldn't have done it without you [NPC] Captain Ahone: I have to report to the Queen, there is no time to waste. [NPC] Ugo: I'll also alert our Chief. Time to go. [NPC] Elle: Is anyone going to thank me?

[NPC] Ugo: A gian- [NPC] Chief Scorn: You even needed the help of those adventurers. [NPC] Chief Scorn: Do you have no shame? [NPC] Ugo: I didn't- [NPC] Chief Scorn: Look at the time. You are late to your training. [NPC] Chief Scorn: Guards, escort my son out of the hut. [NPC] Chief Scorn: <player> I am in your debt.
