He is the teacher of Scarf and Bonzo.

Boss Fight

The Professor has 3 phases.

First Phase

The Professor is surrounded by a barrier at the beginning of the fight, preventing players from dealing damage through it.

To end the first phase, all of The Professor's Guardians must be defeated. Each of the guardians has a special attack/ability. The Guardians are revived with 80% (Normal) / 90% (Master Mode) Health after 10 seconds of being killed.

The Healthy Guardian can perform Giga Heal, which heals every guardian in the room to full Health. However, landing 10 hits or more before the heal timer is up will startle the guardian and prevent the heal.
The Chaos Guardian is the most dangerous of the Guardians. Above its head is an Anger meter. Getting too close to it will cause it to discharge for 4000 Damage every second, and approaching it while it is on full Anger will result in it striking the player for 24000 Damage, twice per second.
The Laser Guardian will begin the fight by charging up a Focus Laser. This laser can be very annoying without an Aspect of the End to break its focus. Every second, it deals 175 True Damage to the player. After firing for about 10 seconds, it will overheat and cool down for a few seconds before resuming fire.
The Reinforced Guardian is the least dangerous of the guardians, only firing off some TNT every so often. However, this TNT can be difficult to avoid at times.
Standing on any guardian's pedestal will cause them to body slam, dealing Knockback and 1500 Damage.

Rogue Guardians will also spawn throughout the fight and fly around firing lasers at any nearby players. After being alive for some time, they will turn into Elder Rogue Guardians which deal more damage.

Second Phase

Oh? You found my Guardian's one weakness? Even if you took my barrier down, I can still fight. This time I'll be your opponent!

In the second phase, The Professor has 3,000,000 Health. When the Professor is brought down to 25% Health (750,000 (Normal) / 150,000,000 (Master Mode)), The Professor undergoes his third and final phase.

Third Phase

I see. You have forced me to use my ultimate technique. These Guardians aren't just for show I'm afraid! The process is irreversible, but I'll be stronger than a Wither now!

In his third phase, the Professor absorbs the dead Elder Guardians and transforms into a Guardian himself. He will spawn Rogue Guardians, and occasionally use the Giga Heal, TNT Rain, and Focus Laser abilities. If the fight goes on for too long, the arena will flood but spawn in several boats. Once the Professor is defeated, Necron will smite him with lightning and warn the players not to go further before he deals with them himself.

Attacks

The Professor

TNT Rain - The Professor flings TNT around him in all directions, which detonate and deal heavy amounts of damage.
- The Professor uses this move only during the third phase.

Giga Heal - The Professor begins a countdown. At the end of this countdown, he and all Rogue Guardians in the room are healed fully.
- The Professor uses this move only during the third phase.
Prismarine Blizzard - The Professor summons a pile of Prismarine that can deal 250 True Damage.
- The Professor uses this move only during the second phase.

Chaos Guardian

Discharge - The Chaos Guardian summons lots of lightning and zaps its surroundings, dealing very heavy damage.
Body Slam - Hits the player for 1,500 Damage.

Healthy Guardian

Giga Heal - Heals all the other Guardians to full Health.
Body Slam - Hits the player for 1,500 Damage.

Reinforced Guardian

Has higher health and defense than other guardians.
Can summon Rogue Guardians.
TNT Rain - Throws TNT in the direction it's facing.
Body Slam - Hits the player for 1,500 Damage.

Laser Guardian

Focus Beam - Charges up and fires a laser at players after 12 seconds. This deals 175 True Damage per second.
Body Slam - Hits the player for 1,500 Damage.

Master Mode Changes

The Professor has 600M and his guardians 125M and 150M. All attacks deal more damage.
Rogue Guardians immediately spawn as the Elder variant.
Guardians are revived after 7 seconds instead of 10.
When Guardians are revived, they regain 90% of their Health instead of 80%.
The Healthy Guardian is invulnerable when performing Giga Heal, however, Giga Heal can still be interrupted by hitting the Guardian enough times.

Trivia

The Floor III boss was called Oak in the Alpha Hypixel Network.^[1]^[2]
- This was a reference to Professor Oak from the Pokémon franchise.
- It is unknown why it was changed.
This is the first usage of Elder Guardians in Hypixel SkyBlock.
This is the first time Necron interacts with the player.
Necron killed The Professor after he was defeated.
The Professor canonically taught Scarf the Necromancy skills they have. But also has other unknown students.
The Rogue Guardians can be absorbed by Necromancer Sword and Reaper Scythe, making them the only non-undead mob to be able to be summoned.
His head has the same texture as Sadan's, except that it has been recolored and the brows are missing.
Although the professor is the one who drops Adaptive Armor, the armor is upgraded with Scarf Fragments.
