Blacksmith

The Blacksmith is an NPC located in  Blacksmith,  Gold Mine, and  Dwarven Village. They are a service character that will Reforge your gear for a fee, depending on the rarity of your gear.

There is an Anvil next to the blacksmith, allowing the player to Enchant their gear using books at the cost of experience levels.

When first interacting with the Blacksmith, he introduces you to the service he provides and then gives the player a Quest, titled "Time To Mine". This requires the player to mine  10 Coal and reach  Mining I (1). After doing so, the player will unlock the Blacksmith's menu.

[NPC] Blacksmith: Reforging usually costs Coins, but since I'm feeling friendly I can reforge your first item for Coal x10. [NPC] Blacksmith: Go into the Mine to collect Coal, then come back to learn how to reforge items!
During the Mine Coal objective		[NPC] Blacksmith: Mine some more Coal in the Mine!
		[NPC] Blacksmith: I will teach you how to reforge items once you mine some more Coal!
Before reaching  Mining I (1) or finishing the Mine Coal objective		[NPC] Blacksmith: Reach Mining Level I to gain access to the Gold Mine, north of the Coal Mine. [NPC] Blacksmith: The Gold Mine is more dangerous than the Coal Mine, but it has better ores and treasures!
Before visiting the Gold Mine or finishing the Mine Coal objective		[NPC] Blacksmith: Travel to the Gold Mine to spelunk for better ores, including iron and gold!
First Interaction after completing the Mine Coal objective		[NPC] Blacksmith: Ahh, excellent! [NPC] Blacksmith: Reforging items allows you to get the most out of your weapons, armor, and other items by applying stat modifiers to them! [NPC] Blacksmith: To reforge an item, place an item in my inventory. Reforging costs Coins - the more prestigious items cost more to reforge! [NPC] Blacksmith: However, this time I will reforge any item for the low price of Coal x10!

[NPC] Blacksmith: ✆ No, no absolutely not. [NPC] Blacksmith: ✆ Unless? Hmm, lemme think about it. [NPC] Blacksmith: ✆ No for sure, for sure. That would be too much. [NPC] Blacksmith: ✆ But maybe... If you do something for me. [NPC] Blacksmith: ✆ I owe a lot of money to someone... Someone important. [NPC] Blacksmith: ✆ Don't ask me how I got into this situation. [NPC] Blacksmith: ✆ I owe them 32M coins. [NPC] Blacksmith: ✆ If you help me, I'll allow you to use my services from anywhere. [PAY DEBT]

• Despite the NPC having identical appearance and usage in the  Gold Mine or the  Dwarven Village, only the one in the Hub has an Abiphone contact.
  • This is because the Abiphone system requires a single NPC, and there are 3 different Blacksmiths.^[1][2]
