Porhtal

Porhtal is an NPC located in the  Broken Cage in the Rift Dimension. They give access to their eyes, which allow the player to teleport to various locations.

Usage

Each eye has 300 Health. After being calmed by dealing enough damage to it, it grants a certain permanent amount of Rift Time and is unlocked. Once unlocked, it takes 5s Rift Time per warp. If the player hasn't paid the time to unlock the zone and any previous zones, the time necessary to access them would be added to the travel time cost, but is reduced by 10%. For example traveling to  Village Plaza requires 4m00s from  Black Lagoon, 3m00s from  West Village, and 8m00s from  Village Plaza, which is in total 15m00s Rift Time or 900s but it only requires 13m30s Rift Time or 810s .

Areas that the player does not need to pass through to visit any other area ( Mirrorverse, and  Living Cave) are never included.

Destinations that are not required to enter another destination are only included when traveled to. So  Barrier Street is only included when traveling to  Stillgore Château,  Colosseum only when traveling to Colosseum,  The Mountaintop only when traveling to Mountaintop.

Trivia

By clicking and rapidly closing the interface on the Eyes, and then rapidly attacking them, anvil sounds will play and the respective Eye will yell "Quit it!" before launching the player back. This can be used to quickly reach the Rift Transfer Chest in the  Wyld Woods by boosting the player from the  Wizard Tower with enough velocity to be able to reach the treetops with two Aspect of the Leech teleports.
All of Porhtal's eyes are various references.
- The Intruder is a reference to the 2019 psychological thriller film of the same name.
- The Gill-Man is a reference to the antagonist of the same name of the film Creature from the Black Lagoon and its two sequels.
- The Baba Yaga is a reference to the supernatural creature from Slavic folklore.
- The Bankster is a reference to the thriller novel Bankster.
- The Prince is likely a reference to the 2014 action thriller film The Prince.
- The 7th Sin is possibly a reference to the 1917 silent drama film The Seventh Sin.
The reverse of Porhtal is Lathrop, which is the human name of The Watcher.
- Porhtal could be the Rift version of The Watcher, but apart from the name and association with eyes, there is no proof of this.
