Divan's Drill can be forged once the player has reached Heart of the Mountain VII (7). It takes 30 seconds to forge.

The Divan's Drill has a base 3,000  Fuel, which can be increased through a Fuel Tank. Additionally, a Drill Engine and Upgrade Module can be added to the drill through a Drill Anvil to grant further bonuses.

When breaking blocks, the Divan's Drill's  Fuel will deplete. Most resources will remove 1  Fuel when mined;  Aquamarine,  Citrine,  Onyx and  Peridot remove 2  Fuel instead;  Glacite,  Umber and  Tungsten remove 3  Fuel instead.  Fuel can be regained by adding Fuel to the Drill through a Drill Anvil.

• The 5th slot of the drill is a universal mining slot, and can have either  Topaz,  Jade or  Amber applied to it.
•  Divan's Powder Coating can be applied to this item for +500  Mining Speed.

• It is the third item that has a base MYTHIC rarity, after the Plasma Bucket and Cake Souls
• This item requires the fourth highest amount of raw materials at 12,027,076.^[Confirm]
• The total time it takes to forge the drill and all of its components is 3438 hours (143 days 6 hours), or 2406.6 hours (100 days 6.6 hours) with Quick Forge 20.^[Confirm]
• Prior 0.17.2,  Divan's Drill was needed to obtain the  Kuudra Relic. The requirement has been changed to any Drill.
• Divan's Drill is tied in fourth for having the most gemstone slots with  Mastiff Armor,  Armor of Divan and  Gemstone Gauntlet, with all of the aforementioned falling behind the  Artifact of Power,  Relic of Power, and  Shimmersparkle Chestplate.
