The Spider Shortbow's Eggsecute ability deals 2x damage to the Tarantula Broodfather's egg sacs.

• Despite its recipe being unlocked at Spider Slayer V (5), it can be used at Spider Slayer III (3). It is unknown whether this is a bug or intentional.
• The Spider Shortbow used to be called the Scorpion Bow. Its old ability, Stinger, would cause fully charged shots while sneaking to slow the victim and deal 35x the player's  Strength as damage per second for 6s.
