The Megalodon Pet is a Fishing Pet dropped rarely by Sharks, which can be fished up during the Fishing Festival. It has a 1% drop chance.

Obtaining

An EPIC Megalodon Pet has a 1% chance to be dropped from a Tiger Shark, while a LEGENDARY Megalodon Pet has a 1% chance to be dropped from a Great White Shark.

Trivia

This pet was not available during the first Fishing Festival.
12[ADMIN] Dctr leaked a version of the pet several hours before the second Fishing Festival. This version contained the Tooth Collector Ability, which granted a +15% chance to get Shark Teeth during the Fishing Festival, an ability the current Megalodon Pet does not have.^[1]
This pet has the highest Sea Creature Chance (at 40) and Fishing Speed (at 80) of any fishing pet when equipped with the Hephaestus Souvenir and while the Fishing Festival is active.
- Its Fishing Speed is tied with the Flying Fish Pet, but the versatility of the latter not being event-locked makes it more useful.
Its old Enhanced Scales Ability used to refer to "Shark Armor", however, no such armor exists. It was later fixed to refer to Shark Scale Armor.
The EPIC variant of this pet sells for 500,000 Coins to George, while the LEGENDARY variant sells for 2,500,000 Coins.
