Glossary
The following is a list of terms and abbreviations commonly used within the SkyBlock community.

[edit | edit source]- #₀/#₁ (Dungeons) - Number of secrets out of total secrets in the current room. For example, 7/8 means 7 secrets found of 8 total
- #₁m #₂a #₃h #₄b #₅t (Dungeons) - The desired class composition for a Dungeon party. Any of the parts may be omitted. For example, 3m 1a 1h represents 3 Mages, 1 Archer and 1 Healer.
- #c (Dungeons) - Number of Crypts destroyed in the run. For example, 4c means 4 crypts
- OFA/1FA - One For All
- XP run - A technique where the Dungeon party plays until 1 minute has elapsed, then dies for XP.
- 1 tap - Killing a mob in a single hit
- 1-tick - Mining a block in a single Minecraft tick (or 0.05 second). See also instamining.
- #-ticking - Mining a block in # Minecraft ticks. Mostly used within the
Mining community, most notably in the context of
Gemstone Mining. - 3-5 business days - 1471 days, the time it took for the Wizard to repair his portal and open The Rift. Used as a joke in the community when something is stated to come "soon".
- 30 (Player) - thirtyvirus
- 50m Midas - Midas' Sword with 50M Coins paid
- 80% run - A technique where the Dungeon party rushes until the dungeon is 80% complete, then dies for XP.

- AOTV - Aspect of the Void
- Arch - Archer
- Archer mid (Cata F7) - Instructions for the Archer to go to the middle platform immediately after starting phase 4 of Necron
- Arrow (Cata F7) - The arrow device in the 3rd part of the 3rd phase of Necron
- AS - Attack Speed

- BR (Dungeons) - Blood Rush, when 1 player rushes to the Blood Room as quickly as possible

- Cheese - A strategy to complete a task in an unintended and faster way.

- Collat - Collateral
- Collateral - A guarantee in the form of money or items, given when trusting another player with an item for them to borrow or upgrade
- Comm - Commission
- Cookie - Booster Cookie
- CP - Chestplate

- DOT - Damage over Time
- Downcrush (Cata F7) - Crushing Necron with a downwards movement of the pillar.
- DP - see Dragon party
- DPH - Damage per hit
- DPS - Damage per second
- Drag - Ender Dragon
- Dragon party - A party of typically 2-4 people, each with Summoning Eyes, who team up to spawn a Dragon
- Dream (Player) - A Minecraft YouTuber. He received the 8th most votes in the Resistance Elections despite not being a SkyBlock player.
- Drop blocks - A request for another player to drop Enchanted Diamond Blocks to pick up and sell to the Trade menu. Used when one cannot afford to unlock a Dungeon Reward Chest with a valuable reward inside. Obsolete since 2021 as players cannot perceive items dropped by other players anymore.
- Drop recomb - A request for another player to drop Recombobulator 3000 to pick up and sell to the Bazaar. Used when one cannot afford to unlock a Dungeon Reward Chest with a valuable reward inside. Obsolete since 2021 as players cannot perceive items dropped by other players anymore.

- Frag bot - A bot which automatically accepts party invites and leaves after a short time. They are used to enter Dungeons solo.
- Frag run - A technique where a player enters a Dungeon (often solo), kills mobs which drop Fragments and leaves.

- GK - Giant Killer
- Glitched chunk - A glitch in Dungeons where entities in a certain chunk will freeze
- Godpot - God Potion
- Gogs (item) - Goggles (Dark Goggles, Shadow Goggles, Wither Goggles)
- Going (Dungeons) - Entering the Dungeon or the boss room
- Golem (End) - End Stone Protector
- Golem run - A technique where a player enters The Catacombs - Floor VI, rushes to the boss, kills the Golems and leaves
- Golems after (Cata F6) - Instruction to kill the Woke Golems after the Terracotta phase in Sadan
- Golems during (Cata F6) - Instruction to kill the Woke Golems during the Terracotta phase in Sadan
- Green (Cata F7) - Green pillar
- Green (Item) - UNCOMMON
- Griffin event - Mythological Ritual
- GS - Giant's Sword

- Prefire (Cata F7) - Shooting the Wither Skeletons on the ground when midair going from phase 1 to phase 2 of Necron.

- PY (Cata F7) - Where the Tank solo crushes Storm at purple pad and then the yellow pad, effectively halving the Storm Phase's time.

- RNG - Random number generator; Randomness; referring to rare drops or events
