Cactus Knife

The Cactus Knife is an EPIC Farming Tool, specialised for farming Cactus. It can break Cactus instantly, and increases the player's Speed Cap by 100 while held on  The Garden. Its rarity can be upgraded by crafting higher tiers.

Obtaining

A Cactus Knife Mk. I can be purchased from the SkyMart on  The Garden for 250 Copper.

The Cactus Knife allows the player to instantly break Cactus, it also increases the player's Speed cap by 100, which allows a particular farm design.

The Farming Tool level can be increased by gaining farming experience with it. Each level increases the amount of experience needed to obtain the proceeding level. Levels can increase the amount of Farming Fortune, Cactus Fortune, Farming Wisdom, Gemstone slots, and rarity.

After the tool reaches level 40, Overclocker 3000s are required to unlock the next levels. A maximum of 10 Overclocker 3000s can be used to get a max hoe level of 50.

After a tool reaches level 50, every 200,000 experience will drop a Tool Exp Capsule, with no effect on the Farming Tool itself. Every level after 50 requires the same amount of experience.

Trivia

Since vanilla Minecraft does not provide a way to insta-break cactus in survival mode, the Cactus Knife's ability is implemented server-side, meaning this means there is a one tick delay before the cactus breaks. Therefore, you cannot break multiple layers of cactus at once without losing efficiency.
- This means that maximum efficiency when farming cactus requires 464 Speed.
