The Artisanal Shortbow is a RARE Bow.

The Artisanal Shortbow can be purchased from the Weaponsmith for 600 Coins after the player has reached  Combat IV (4).

The Artisanal Shortbow is a shortbow, meaning it can fire arrows instantly, without needing to charge. Only right click can be held to continuously fire, but rapidly left clicking fires arrows slightly faster. The maximum rate of fire is determined by the player's  Attack Speed.^[1]

When left-clicking, the fire rate starts at 2.22 shots per second (9 ticks per shot) with 0  Attack Speed and increases to 5 shots per second (4 ticks per shot) with 100  Attack Speed.^[2] The increase in fire rate with  Attack Speed is incremental, not continuous. The maximum possible fire rate that can be achieved by optimal left-clicking depending on the player's  Attack Speed:

Only holding right-click, the fire rate starts at 1.67 shots per second (12 ticks per shot) at 0  Attack Speed and increases to 2.5 shots per second (8 ticks per shot) above about 50  Attack Speed.^[3] It is believed that this happens because items attempt to cast their right-click abilities every 4 ticks when right-click is held continuously.

• Early players can use this bow to do Creeper Beams and Blaze puzzle (Higher or Lower) faster as it doesn't need to be drawn.
• It is recommended to switch to using a Dragon Shortbow after completing the Lone Adventurer quest in the End or Juju Shortbow later after reaching Enderman Slayer Level 5 or Terminator after reaching Enderman Slayer Level 7.
