Weather is a mechanic that grants stat boosts and effects on certain Public Islands.
Weather Mechanics
[edit | edit source]Mild Weather condition will start every 60 minutes and lasts for 20 minutes. Every 3rd Mild Weather condition will instead be EXTREME. All Weather conditions grant stat boosts, and EXTREME weather conidion has an additonal bonus effect (except Spider's Den and Lotus Atoll where Mild Weather condition has an effect too).
Professor Wynd can also notify the player of the upcoming weather when added as an Abiphone Contact.

Weather Buffs

Blizzard in a Bottle Mixin grants +10% to the base Weather effect stats.
Quartz Speed grants up to 100 Mining Speed during any Weather.
During any Weather, a 
Spinosaurus Pet gains a 50% boost to base Stats.
Bonuses from an 
Umberella are doubled during Rain.
Other Locations
[edit | edit source]Birch Park
[edit | edit source]The player can pay 
Vanessa 5,000 Coins to create rain in the Birch Park for 60 seconds. Up to 30 minutes of rain can be bought.
While raining, players gain +25 Fishing Speed. Additionally, every 11 seconds there's a 66.6% (2 in 3 rolls) chance to spawn 1-2 
Squids in water if there's less than 5 Squids alive.
Private Island
[edit | edit source]Rain and thunderstorms (or snowfall if a 
Taiga Biome Stick is used) occurs randomly on the Private Island. Weather can be fully disabled with a 
Weather Node, Weather Stick, or by switching the Private Island biome with a Nether Biome Stick, Desert Biome Stick, Mesa Biome Stick, or Savanna Biome Stick.
Weather provides no bonuses on the Private Island.
Ancient Pig
[edit | edit source]While the 
Ancient Pig was active, Thunderstorms could occur and lasted for 20 minutes. During a thunderstorm, 
Charged Creepers and 
Skeleton Horses could spawn.
