Weather

Weather is a mechanic that grants stat boosts and effects on certain Public Islands.

Weather can appear on the  Birch Park,  Spider's Den,  Backwater Bayou , and  Lotus Atoll. Additionally, a  Blizzard in a Bottle can be used to summon a blizzard on  Jerry's Workshop and the  Glacite Tunnels.

While raining on any Public Island, a  Spinosaurus Pet gains a 50% boost to base Stats and the bonuses from an  Umberella are doubled.

The player can pay Vanessa 5,000 Coins to create rain in the  Birch Park for 60 seconds. Up to 30 minutes of rain can be bought.

While raining, players gain +25  Fishing Speed. Additionally, every 11 seconds there's a 66.6% (2 in 3 rolls) chance to spawn 1-2 Squids in water if there's less than 5 Squids alive.

Every 40 minutes on the  Spider's Den, 20 minutes of rain begins. While raining, players gain +25  Fishing Speed and Rain Slimes spawn. After raining twice, the third rain becomes a thunderstorm and in addition to previous effects Toxic Rain Slimes start to spawn.

Every SkyBlock Day has a 50% chance to rain. Rain is guaranteed to appear on the third day if there is no rain for 2 consecutive days. While raining, players gain +25  Fishing Speed.

Every 40 minutes on the  Lotus Atoll, 20 minutes of rain begins. ^[Confirm] While raining, players gain +25  Fishing Speed and the ability to catch  Wetlands Frogs.

Occasionally, rain may become a thunderstorm. It provides no additional effect.^[Confirm]

Upon using a Blizzard in a Bottle on  Jerry's Workshop or the  Glacite Tunnels, a blizzard begins for 10 minutes. During blizzards, players gain +25  Fishing Speed, +5  Sea Creature Chance, +5  Treasure Chance, +2.5  Tracking, and +1  Double Hook Chance.

Rain and thunderstorms (or snowfall if a  Taiga Biome Stick is used) occurs randomly on the  Private Island. Weather can be fully disabled with a  Weather Node,  Weather Stick, or by switching the  Private Island biome with a  Nether Biome Stick,  Desert Biome Stick,  Mesa Biome Stick, or  Savanna Biome Stick.

Weather provides no bonuses on the  Private Island.

While the Ancient Pig was active, Thunderstorms could occur and lasted for 20 minutes. During a thunderstorm, Charged Creepers and Skeleton Horses could spawn.

• Like vanilla Minecraft, rain boosts the speed of fishing particles.^[Confirm]
