The Mosquito Shortbow's Nasty Bite can be triggered upon left-clicking. This shot costs 10  Vitality to fire. Every mob hit heals the player for 189  Health. This has a fixed cooldown of 0.5 seconds regardless of the player's  Attack Speed.

• Prior to Update 0.23.4, the Mosquito Shortbow's Nasty Bite ability had no cooldown, unlike its regular attack. As a rest, players abused this to achieve high levels of damage by spamming left-click. The ability was later given a hidden cooldown of 0.5s.
