Events

Events take place throughout SkyBlock. They can be accessed by opening the SkyBlock Menu and clicking Calendar and Events.

A SkyBlock Year is exactly 5 days and 4 hours, meaning the timing of events rotates to suit different timezones.

Yearly Events

Multiple Events take place at the same in-game time every SkyBlock year. Some events are held in the Event Square, while others are held elsewhere.

Hoppity's Hunt	Early Spring 1 - Late Spring 31	Help Hoppity find his Chocolate Rabbits across SkyBlock.
Election Over	Late Spring 27	The Mayor is selected until the next election ends!
Traveling Zoo	Early Summer 1-3 Early Winter 1-3	Oringo the Traveling Zookeper is visiting SkyBlock with pets to trade!
Election Booth Opens	Late Summer 27	The Mayor election booth opens in the community center!
Harvest Feast	Early Autumn 1 - Late Autumn 31	4 crops will be in-season and have a chance to drop Seasoning and Rare Crops. Donate Seasoning to the  Communal Stew and be rewarded with Feast Flasks!
Spooky Festival	Autumn 29-31^[1]	Autumn is in full swing and the air is full of fright. Mob drops have a chance to contain Candy, which can be traded with the Fear Mongerer for rare items!
Season of Jerry	Late Winter 24-26	The Jerrys are hard at work trying to craft enough Gifts for all of SkyBlock, but an army of enemies are on the attack! Help protect  Jerry's Workshop so that everyone can go home with Gifts!
New Year Celebration	Late Winter 29-31	To celebrate the SkyBlock New Year, the Baker is giving out free Cake.

Yearly Events System

These events appear in a 12 year cycle. The year's shop can be located at the Hub Well.

	Year of the Pig	Celebrate the Year of the Pig by chasing Shiny Pigs and collecting their treasures to unlock exclusive rewards!
	Year of the Seal	The Year of the Seal event primarily consists of Fishing, playing the Beach Ball Minigame, and spending Fishy Treat at Lukas the Aquarist.
	Year of the Witch	The Year of the Witch event primarily consists of brewing Witches Stews, collecting special ingredients from mobs, and spending Ingredients at Agnes and Alcina.

Calendar Events

These events only appear when looking directly into the calendar and are not shown in the Events menu, because they are far more common. Major events however appear in Calendar as well as the Events menu.

Jacob's Farming Contest	Every 3 days, lasts from XX:15 to XX:35 in real life's time.	Allows players to compete in 3 randomly chosen crops. Participants are awarded Jacob's Tickets and Medals.
Starlyn Contests	Every day in-game.	Allows players to complete various tasks on  Galatea islands to achieve certain brackets. Participants are awarded Agatha's Coupons and other rewards.
Dark Auction	Every 3 days, lasts starts at XX:55 in real life's time.	Allows players to bid against each other for unique items.

Mayor Events

Those events occur only when a Mayor or Minister is elected with the corresponding perk.

Mythological Ritual	Diana	During the entire mayor's tenure.	Dig out Griffin Burrows and spawn Mythological Creatures.
Fishing Festival	Marina	1st to 3rd of each SkyBlock Month.	Fish up Sharks.
Fishing Festival	Foxy	22 of Late Summer to 24 of Late Summer.	Fish up Sharks.
Mining Fiesta	Cole	1st to 7th of the following Skyblock Months: Spring^[2] Early Summer Late Summer Autumn Early Winter	Get +75 Mining Wisdom, double mining drops, and obtain Refined Minerals and Glossy Gemstones.
Mining Fiesta	Foxy	22 of Late Summer to 28 of Late Summer.
Carnival	Foxy	During the entire mayor's tenure	Play minigames to earn Carnival Tokens, allowing you to purchase Carnival Masks and Event Perks.
Stonk Exchange	Diaz	From 27 of Late Spring to 31 of Late Spring, then repeating every SkyBlock Month for their entire duration, until the end of the mayor’s tenure	Participate in the Stonks Auction for a chance to win Stock of Stonks! Trade them for extravagant items at the  Trade Center.

These events happen using the real-life Gregorian calendar.

Party Time!
