A Slug can also be Charmed or Hunted with a Lasso to obtain a  Keeled Slug Shard and +150  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.

Slugs slowly run away from the player. Slugs can only be damaged with Vacuums or Lassos.
