Obtaining

A Soggybud can grow in the Greenhouse if there are Melon 2 Melon and Gloomgourd 2 Gloomgourd within 1 block of farmland.

While growing, a Soggybud needs water and has 10 Growth Stages. When placed near another crop, it retains watering status by 50%.

A Soggybud can only be watered by taking it from nearby crops.

Crop Drops

When harvested, Soggybuds also drop Melon Slice 1,920 Melon Slice and +3,200  Farming XP.

Usage

Crop Analyzer

A Soggybud can be analyzed in the Crop Analyzer for 60,000 Coins. When analyzed, it grants 30 Copper. The first time analyzing a Soggybud grants an additional 750 Copper.

Mutations

Soggybuds are used to create a Thunderling Thunderling and Turtlellini Turtlellini.

Tips

  • Be careful of growing multiple Soggybuds close to each other. They will absorb water from each other, which can impact growth speed and make them decay before they finish growing.

Bugs

  • After the recipe change on February 2, 2026, Soggybuds may struggle to reach sufficient water level to fully grow before decay with only the required Melon 2 Melons and Gloomgourd 2 Gloomgourds nearby. To avoid this, it is recommended to plant more Melon Melons (or other waterable crops) nearby, and possibly even replace the Gloomgourd Gloomgourds if necessary.
