Dead Plant

A Dead Plant is an UNCOMMON item.

A Dead Plant replaces plants in the Greenhouse if they reach -100 water. Alternatively, the decay mechanic will turn most fully grown mutation into Dead Plants after a few days, even if fully hydrated or placed by the player. Different mutations can have different decay timers. The lowest is 3 days, and certain mutations do not have any decay at all. This can be observed using the Plant Diagnostics Tool.

Dead Plants are used to create a  Witherbloom and  Zombud.

• Despite not being a Mutation, Dead Plant can be stored in the Mutations Sacks.
