Mana

- Overflow Mana
Mana is a player resource with its maximum value increased with Intelligence. It is used to activate various item abilities.
Overflow Mana is a separate player resource that can be used like Mana when Mana is exhausted.
Mechanics
[edit | edit source]The Current Mana, Maximum Mana, and Overflow Mana stats can be viewed on the main information bar, along with Defense and Health.
Mana
[edit | edit source]Most Mana abilities have a fixed Mana Cost, such as the
Aspect of the Dragons, while some such as the
End Stone Sword use a percentage of the Maximum Mana. This Mana Cost is deducted from the Mana pool upon usage. If there is less Mana in the pool than the ability requires, the ability will not work.
Upon consumption of Mana, the player's Mana Pool will refill every second according to the Mana Regeneration Rate until it reaches the maximum.
Mana Pool
[edit | edit source]The Mana Pool holds all the Mana that the player has. It can store up to a finite amount of Mana. The Current Mana or Mana is the existing Mana in a player's Mana Pool. The Maximum Mana, or the size of Mana Pool, is the maximum amount of Mana that the Mana Pool can store.
The base value of Maximum Mana is 100. Each point of Intelligence increases the Maximum Mana by 1.
Mana Regeneration
[edit | edit source]Mana regenerates every second until it reaches the maximum.
The base value is 2% of the Maximum Mana per second.
When the Maximum Mana is decreased past the Current Mana, due to losing Intelligence or otherwise, the extra Mana above the new Maximum Mana is removed.
Overflow Mana
[edit | edit source]Overflow Mana is a bonus resource that is used as Mana only when the Mana Pool is exhausted. When attempting to use abilities with insufficient Mana in the Mana Pool, it will take Overflow Mana.
Overflow Mana does not naturally regenerate. It must be directly converted from internalized Soulflow with the Soulflow Pile Accessory line or other means (See Soulflow (Mechanic)#Obtaining). Unlike Mana, Overflow Mana does not reset when switching lobbies.
Currently, all methods of conversion sets the player's Overflow Mana to a certain value, overwriting any existing Overflow Mana.
Ways to Increase Mana Regeneration

End Portal Fumes: When added to
God Potion and consumed, all Soulflow conversions provide +30% Overflow Mana.
Max "Maximum Mana"
[edit | edit source]Maximum Mana is equals to Maximum Intelligence + 100 Mana.
Max Overflow Mana
[edit | edit source]The maximum Overflow Mana can be obtained through a conversion method with the highest Overflow Mana value.
The current maximum is 780, obtained through
Soulflow Supercell or
Gloomlock Grimoire (600), with the
End Portal Fumes
God Potion effect (+30%).
Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Due to a bug, it is possible to have a negative amount of Overflow Mana. This effectively subtracts the Overflow Mana value from the Mana pool, rendering any abilities which cost more than the difference unable to be used. This can be fixed by gaining Overflow Mana with a Soulflow Pile or other means.
- If the negative Overflow Mana exceeds Mana, no abilities will be able to be used, including abilities which do not cost Mana.
