Tips

The Mushroom Eater perk makes this pet the best for Mushroom collection and Coins earned from Farming, even at 0 Strength, assuming it is at least RARE and [Lv41].
Due to the Farming Strength perk, this pet has the potential to be the best for Farming Fortune for all crops, given sufficient Strength. However, in practice it is currently outclassed by the Rose Dragon Pet and MYTHIC Elephant Pet as well as the Hedgehog Pet for killing Pests.
- The formula for bonus Farming Fortune is as follows (brackets indicate rounding down):

- A [Lv100] LEGENDARY Mooshroom Cow Pet provides the same Farming Fortune as a [Lv100] MYTHIC Elephant Pet at 2,857.15 Strength, and 1 more at 2,885.72 Strength.
A [Lv100] LEGENDARY Mooshroom Cow Pet provides the same Farming Fortune against Pests as a [Lv100] LEGENDARY Hedgehog Pet at 4,214.3 Strength.
- This is not feasible, as sacrificing other sources of Farming Fortune results in a net negative, and reaching that amount of Strength outside of dungeons is generally impossible.
The highest obtainable amount of Strength as of 0.25, in a sensible Farming setup, under realistic conditions is as follows: 1,780.70 Strength, totalling to 62 Farming Fortune, and if Candidate Jerry is the active Mayor, the stats change to 1,955.75 (68 ). Trivia

The Mushrooms dropped from the Mushroom Eater perk add to the Mushroom collection and the Garden Milestone for Mushroom.
The Mooshroom Cow used to be the best farming pet in the game immediately after its release with the Crimson Isle Update. The reason for this was that its perk Mushroom Eater would drop one of each mushroom per crop broken and they were affected by Farming Fortune. On top of that, the Farming Strength perk used to be +1 Farming Fortune every 10 Strength instead of the current +0.7 Farming Fortune every 20 Strength at level 100.
- All of that combined, plus the fact that mushrooms have a very good NPC sell price, made the Mooshroom Cow pet the best farming pet in the game. Players with high strength optimization and high farming levels were able to get up to 12,000,000 Coins per hour easily.

Bugs

The Mushroom Eater perk grants double Mushroom drops when farming Cactus or Sugar Cane.
