Corrupt Soil

The Corrupt Soil is an EPIC Minion Upgrade item that turns mobs from Mob-spawning Minions to their X Corrupted X forms.

Corrupt Soil can be placed in mob-spawning Minions, see below. When placed in a minion, Corrupt Soil X Corrupts X all mobs spawned by the minion. This makes the mobs drop  1 Sulphur and  1 Corrupted Fragment.

• While the island is loaded, Corrupt Soil triggers for every successfully generated loot table entry of the main drop. Often this also results in  1 Sulphur and  1 Corrupted Fragment, but for  Revenant Minion,  Voidling Minion,  Skeleton Minion,  Tarantula Minion,  Magma Cube Minion, and  Slime Minion this results in a chance for multiple  Sulphur and  Corrupted Fragment drops.

•  Slime Minion has 3 loot table entries for  Slimeball:
  •  1 Slimeball with 100% (1 in 1),
  •  1 Slimeball with 50% (1 in 2),
  •  1 Slimeball with 50% (1 in 2).

So  Slime Minion can get  1–3 Sulphur and  1–3 Corrupted Fragment per kill, averaging to 2 of each.

• The amount of drops per loot table entry does not matter. For example,  Revenant Minion spawns Revenant which has 3 loot table entries for  Rotten Flesh:
  •  2 Rotten Flesh with 100% (1 in 1)
  •  1 Rotten Flesh with 50% (1 in 2)
  •  2 Rotten Flesh with 33% (1 in 3.03)

So  Revenant Minion can get  1–3 Sulphur and  1–3 Corrupted Fragment per kill, averaging to 1.83 of each.

• This item shares the same texture as Potato Spreading.
