Bits
Bits are a currency earned while under the effects of a
Booster Cookie and can be spent at
Elizabeth in the Community Center for unique items.
Mechanics
[edit | edit source]To earn Bits, the player must first consume a
Booster Cookie. After doing so, their pool of Bits available increases by a base value of 4,800, multiplied by their Bits Multiplier.
The Bits Multiplier is increased with the player's Fame Rank and Museum Milestones; the
Bits Talisman increases the rate at which Bits are obtained.
While the player has Bits available, they earn 5.2083% of their Bits per Cookie (or in other words, 250 Bits multiplied by their Bits Multiplier) every 30 minutes. This means that on average, it takes 10 hours of idle playtime to gain the full potential of a Booster Cookie without a
Bits Talisman.
Whenever a player logs on to a profile, if at least 30 minutes have already elapsed since the last time they gained Bits, they will be immediately given one set of Bits from their pool, but not multiple, regardless of how long they have been offline.
Bits can also be earned by completing various tasks, listed below. These all drain from the player's pool of Bits available, meaning they don't reward extra Bits, but only make the gain faster. These gains are also multiplied by the player's Bits Multiplier.
