A Verdant is a Critter that can be found on the  Moonglade Marsh.

Verdants spawn in water all around the  Moonglade Marsh.

Verdants swim alone or in schools before standing still. If a player throws a Fishing Net, it catches the Verdant and drops its Attribute.

Catching a Verdant with a Fishing Net grants  Verdant Shard and +75  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.

• The word Verdant, meaning green, comes from the French 'virdeant'. This orginated from the word 'viridis,' which is simply the Latin word for green, making it a cognate with the word viridian.
