Spikes spawn in the  Murkwater Shallows and  Kelpwoven Tunnels.

Spikes swim around in the  Murkwater Depths. They have to be attacked from a distance, meaning they effectively require a  Turbo Fishing Net to attack due to its Throw Distance bonus. They take 10  Damage per hit regardless of the player's  Pull.

Defeating a Spike with a Fishing Net grants  Spike Shard and +1,000  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.
