Hideyho is a RARE Critter that can be found in the Haunted biome of the  Critter Safari.

Spawning

Hideyho spawns somewhere inside the Haunted biome.

Behavior

Hideyho spawns somewhere in the Haunted biome. If the player interacts with it, they can start a game of hide and seek, causing it to hide somewhere else in the Haunted biome and apply Blindness II for 1 second. Upon being found again, it rewards the player with a Hideyho Shard.

The amount of Hideyho Shards dropped is affected by Hunting Fortune. Hideyho also grants +5,000 Hunting XP once per instance.

The amount of Hideyho Shards depends on how long it took the player to find it. If the player takes longer than 1m to find Hideyho, they get 1 Hideyho Shard. If the player takes 1m or less, they get 2 Hideyho Shards. If the player finds them in 30s or less, they get 3 Hideyho Shards.

Tips

Once Hideyho teleports to a different location, particles on the ground will hint on the direction it teleported to.

Trivia

Hideyho is the only mob in the Critterdex that cannot get captured with a Critter Capsule.
