Inferno is an Ultimate Enchantment that traps an enemy for a limited time and deals extra damage to it throughout the duration of the trap. The trap damage counts as Magic Damage and is thus affected by mobs with Magic Resistance, especially noticeable against dungeon Minibosses and Bosses.

The Inferno Enchantment can be traded through the Bazaar.

Every 10th hit on a mob traps it for 5s and deals 1 + 0.25x per level of that hit's damage over the trap's duration.

The Inferno Enchantment can be applied to any Sword, Fishing Rod, Fishing Weapon, Gauntlet, Axe or Bow. It requires  Enchanting XXXVII (37) to apply.
