Year of the Pig Exclusive
Shiny Orb is only obtainable during Year of the Pig.

Shiny Orbs are COMMON items related to the Year of the Pig event. They can be used on a Shiny Pig to obtain rewards.

Obtaining

During the Year of the Pig event, Shiny Orbs can be purchased from the Pig Shop for 5,000 Coins.

Usage

Right-clicking a Shiny Pig with a Shiny Orb will launch the pig a short distance away while the orb hovers in place where it was clicked. Bringing the pig back to the orb within 90 seconds will grant a reward.

Reason: The addition of Enchanted Cooked Porkchop does not make sense with 2,500 weight. Who wants to crunch some numbers to figure out the true weights ?

Upon bringing a Shiny Pig back to a Shiny Orb, the player receives a Shiny Token and one reward from the table below. By using the Shiny Rod, Pig Pet and leveling Shiny Pig Bestiary, Coins drops can be increased up to 105%. The Pig Brain Mixin grants a +10% chance to loot a 2nd item from the loot table below..

Trivia

When the Blood God Shrine was active, Shiny Orbs had a very small chance to give the player a Shiny Relic.
- This feature was removed when the Ancient Pig was summoned.
Shiny Orbs were added as part of 8[PIG+++] Technoblade's mayor perks, due to his position as the Resistance Leader.
Although the 'Shiny Orb's description says to right-click a Shiny Pig, left-clicking them also works.
The message received in the chat after clicking a charged orb has a misspelling. The word "piglet's" is spelled with two g's in the message.
Shiny Orbs could previously be placed on Private Islands. This got patched, but some islands still have remaining orbs.
In the first days of the event, about 9 million Shiny Pigs were killed every 24 hours.^[1]
During the 21 days that the original event lasted, 53 million Shiny Orbs were used.^[2]
