Fossils

The Fossils are items obtainable from Fossil Excavation, with the exception of  Claw Fossil and  Helix Fossil which are only obtainable from  Crystal Nucleus.

The  Helix Fossil and the  Claw Fossil can rarely be obtained from completing the Crystal Nucleus.

When excavated, each  Suspicious Scrap has a 10% chance to contain a random Fossil, except  Helix Fossil and  Claw Fossil. All 6 Fossils have the same chance to appear. For a Fossil to be obtained, all of its parts must be uncovered before the player runs out of charges on their Chisel. Every Fossil has a unique shape, and knowing this shape makes them easier to uncover.

All Fossils can be donated to Dr. Stone for a variety of rewards. Excluding the  Helix Fossil and  Claw Fossil, this process is required to unlock the Forge recipe of each fossil's respective pet.

Apart from this, donating also grants +25,000  Mining XP, 10 SkyBlock XP and 30000 ᠅ Glacite Powder.

Once the player donates eight Fossils, they will also receive a bonus 60,000 ᠅ Glacite Powder.

Fossils are mainly used at  The Forge in order to forge their respective pets.

All Fossils can be used as Machine Fuel, granting 50,000 Fuel to Drills and the Composter.

All Fossils can be salvaged for  50 Fossil Essence, except  Helix Fossil and  Claw Fossil, which can be salvaged for  25 Fossil Essence.

1 Random (depending on dialogue) Fossil can be given to Fossil Muncher for 25,000 ᠅ Glacite Powder and  100 Fossil Essence.
