Salvaging
Salvaging is a mechanic that lets players trade certain items for Essence and other items.
Salvaging Mechanics
[edit | edit source]Items can be Salvaged at certain NPCs: 
Malik, 
Marigold, 
Gemma, 
Alwin, 
Igor, 
Spider Tamer, 
Frozen Alex, 
Tyzzo and 
Researcher Beryl.
Starred Dungeon Items grant +2 Essence of the same type for each star. Dungeon Items with +50% Stat Boost grant +10 Essence of the same type.
Items upgraded with Stars will refund 1/2 of spent resources back, rounded down.
Co-op Soulbound items that were donated to the Museum cannot be salvaged.
Salvagable Items

[edit | edit source]Certain items can be salvaged to grant Essence. This amount can be increased by up to 20% with the Cooled Forges perk, purchasable at Frozen Alex.

Items below can only be salvaged on the Draconic Altar.
There is also a 45% chance for bonus items to be rolled, which can be increased by up to 10% with the 
MYTHIC Endermite Pet's Sacrificer ability.
Amount of Essence granted is not affected by Cooled Forges perk.
