Red Sand Minion

A Red Sand Minion is a  Mining Minion that generates and collects  Red Sand. Red Sand Minion recipes are unlocked at Red Sand I (1) and require an increasing amount of ⚒️ Barbarian Reputation per tier.

The following is the standard ideal layout as shown in-game in the minion's menu.

Due to  Red Sand being affected by gravity, there needs to be a block under the air to keep the sand in reach.

A Red Sand Minion can be made almost twice as fast by letting the red sand fall on a non-full block (like  Signs or  Carpet) above a  Hopper. The non-full block breaks the falling red sand and hoppers underneath can collect it. This will cause the minion to skip the mining action, but that does make the minion 10% slower^[Confirm], so it is almost twice as fast.

Special layouts only work when the  Private Island is loaded.

Some Minion Modifiers can only be applied to a limited selection of Minions. The following of which can be applied to a Red Sand Minion.
