Item Upgrades are enchantments, items, or reforges that can boost the stats of Armor and Weapons.
Listed Below is all Possible Upgrades.
Armor Upgrades
[edit | edit source]These upgrades can be applied to any armor piece, increasing its stats.
- Reforges range in effects, with the power of the reforge depending on the rarity of the item. Listed below is a small subset of the most popular armor reforges. Reforges cost a few thousand coins to do at higher rarities.
- Enchantments focus on a variety of effects, some of which effect stats directly (listed below), while others apply non-stat bonuses. The highest level enchantments however are very expensive, and are only recommended for end-game armor (ex: Superior Dragon Armor, Perfect Armor, and the Slayer Armor sets). The most helpful stat giving enchantments for end-game armor are: Growth VI, Protection VI, True Protection I, Sugar Rush I-III.
- Hot Potato Books - similar to high level enchantments, it's recommended to only apply these to high level armor. While these only increase stats by a small amount, each armor piece can have up to 10 of these applied (costing over half a million at shop prices to craft them all) which can provide a significant boost.
- Fuming Potato Books - These are Hot Potato Books, but they allow this item to be used 5 times after the 10-book limit. WARNING! If it is under the 10-book limit, it will function as a normal Hot Potato Book.
- Star Upgrades* can be applied to certain items to gain a 2% stat boost per star outside of Dungeons, and 10% stat boost per star while in Dungeons.
- Dungeonizing* items will scale its power by the player's
Catacombs level's bonus while in The Catacombs. - Recombobulator 3000 increases its rarity by 1, amplifying its reforge to the next level.
- Gemstone Slots* - if available, one Gemstone can be inserted into each slot. The better the quality of the Gemstone, the better the stats it provides. The effect of a Gemstone is also determined by the rarity of the item, with higher rarities giving higher stats.
- Runes are a cosmetic upgrade that can be applied to items. Runes usually show off particles, and have no real influence on stats.
Note: * indicates that only certain items can have this upgrade.
