An Enchanted Bookshelf was an UNCOMMON block that could be placed on Private Island. It can now be traded for Magic For Pets In A Hurry 1 Magic For Pets In A Hurry in the Legacy Trades menu.

Usage

An Enchanted Bookshelf can be traded for Magic For Pets In A Hurry 1 Magic For Pets In A Hurry in the Legacy Trades menu, accessed from /legacytrades.

It used to be placeable on the player's Private Island by an Enchantment Table Enchantment Table to grant 15 Bookshelf Power, allowing access to better Enchantments. A Bookshelf Power of 20 gave access to all Enchantments. See Enchanting mechanics § Bookshelf placement on the Minecraft Wiki for information about the placement that was required at the time.

Trivia

  • An Enchanted Bookshelf could only be crafted with Enchanted Oak Log Enchanted Oak Log. Other types of wood do not work, even though a regular Bookshelf Bookshelf can be crafted with any combination of planks.
  • Only Enchanted Bookshelf 2 Enchanted Bookshelves were needed to access all Enchantments.
  • Prior to version 0.10, placing additional Enchanted Bookshelves would raise the amount of Experience levels required to apply the strongest Enchantments. However, the Enchantments would still only appear at level 64.
  • Enchanted Bookshelves cannot be Recombobulator 3000 recombobulated. If one is already recombobulated, it will be forcibly reverted to its base rarity.
