XXLARGE_ENCHANTED_CHEST

Minion Storages are a type of chest for Minions, used when they run out of inventory space. They are not Minion Upgrades, but are instead placed next to a minion.

Usage

Minion Storages can be placed on any side of a Minion (but not under and above the minion), which will increase the effective storage capacity of the Minion based on the type of Minion Storage used.

If Automated Shipping is used, it will only sell after both the Minion's inventory and chest are filled.

Note that Hoppers do not work on Minion Storages as the items are not stored in the vanilla chest representing the Minion Storage.

Tips

  • Medium storages are used the most often because they are cheap and provide decent storage space.
  • It is best used with compactors.

Bugs

[edit | edit source]
  • Items can be put into the vanilla chest representing the Minion Storage with a dropper and taken out with a hopper.
    • This does not put items in the minion's storage, but in the vanilla chest that is used to represent the Minion Storage.
    • A hopper cannot put items into the representing chest.
    • Items put into the representing chest are saved and will still be there after reloading the island.
    • Breaking the Minion Storage or picking up the accompanying minion will make any items in the representing chest drop on the ground.

Trivia

  • The game messages about not being able to place Minion Storages next to other chests take priority over needing to place it next to a minion.
  • Placing a Large Storage chest grants the achievement Bigger Storage is Seeded.
  • A newly placed minion storage links to the first minion it finds while checking the cardinal directions in the following order: south, west, north, east (from the perspective of the chest).
