Free Will
Free Will is a LEGENDARY item available in The Mountaintop in the Rift Dimension.
Obtaining
[edit | edit source]Free Will is obtained from Ubik's Averages by being among the 10% of players closest to half of the average. Picking a value 4x higher than the average will reward the player with 
2 Free Will.
Usage
[edit | edit source]Free Will can be used to boost all Minions. To apply it to a minion, use it on a placed minion. The minion will choose to either stay with the player or leave. The minion has a 50% base chance to stay and gains +4% per the minion's tier. Staying grants a permanent +10% Minion Speed, this is a one-time boost and Free Will cannot be applied again. Leaving causes the minion to fly up in the sky, disappear forever, and send a 
Postcard to 
Jerry. Any items and upgrades in the minion are sent to the player's inventory.
Only one minion at a time can be in the process of choosing to stay or leave.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- If the Player leaves the Private Island while a Minion is making its decision, the Dialogue will be skipped, and the Minion will either have the speed boost or be gone when the Player returns. The chance the minion stays or leaves is unchanged.[Confirm]
- Players who lost the Free Wills on their minions during the April 9, 2025 minion backend update received special versions of the item which have 100% loyalty chance and are Co-op Soulbound.
