Saving Grace

Saving Grace is a RARE item. It requires Ender Pearl IX (9) ( 50,000 Ender Pearls collected) to craft this item. It safely teleports you to your  Private Island when the player is about to die. The item must be present in the player's inventory for it to work.

Usage

Active ability

If your Health drops below 0 with the item in your inventory, you'll be warped back to your  Private Island, with your full Health and no Death penalty. The item will be consumed on use.

This item can be useful if you carry a large number of Coins around. For example, when you need to carry a lot of Coins to increase the Emerald Blade's stats.

This item's ability is similar to the Remnant of the Eye's ability, though the Remnant of the Eye does not bring you to your  Private Island and only works on  The End Island.

Trivia

This item was commonly used by players and YouTubers doing a hardcore challenge where they cannot die as this item prevents you from dying. However it was risky to use the item as it was glitched and sometimes the player would still die.
An example of it not activating properly was when the Youtuber TimeDeo and his Co-Op members reached 50 million coins and he decided to prank people and his co-op members by holding 50 mil and jumping into the void while holding a Saving Grace. When he did this the Saving Grace teleported him to the island, but only after he died and lost coins.[1]

Tips

If you want not to lose coins upon death, it is far more recommended to use the Piggy Bank item, which works as an accessory on top of saving your coins upon death.
It is highly recommended to take this item out of your inventory during Dungeons as its ability is triggered when you die in Dungeons.
